Emily is an Associate in the London office of Johnson Law Group, with over four years’ experience working on complex group litigation.
She has recently worked on high-value claims within the Pan-NOx Emissions Litigation, including the Mercedes, Peugeot Citroën and Fiat Chrysler/Suzuki proceedings. In these matters, she supported the legal team from post-issue stages to the 13 week multi-party liability trial.
Emily has also contributed to international group actions, including the Município de Mariana v BHP Group Plc environmental litigation. As part of this work, she travelled to Brazil to meet claimants and assist with progressing the case on the ground. In addition, she has supported clients in financial mis-selling claims, helping to keep cases progressing and maintaining clear and responsive communication with claimants throughout the process.
Emily is motivated by the practical impact of her work: helping groups of claimants hold large corporations to account and pursue claims that would be difficult to bring individually.
